| Time: January 1 - December 31, 2024. Weekdays (except holidays) between 1100 - 1900 LT. The fairway through Södertälje kanal and lock is closed for vessels exceeding any of the following: LOA 70 meters, beam 14 meters or draught 4,5 meters. The fairway is closed between Mälarhamnen and Igelstaviken. |

Slussen (The Lock)
Times below apply to southbound traffic towards Saltsjön. Northbound vessels locks immediatly after southbound.
There could be some deviations to the time listed above on holidays and the day before weekends.

The lock times may be affected due to ongoing work in the canal / lock and merchant shipping.

- Northbound sailing yachts with air draught exceeding 15,0m should adjust the passage to the opening times of the bridge Mälarbron.
- Detailed information is available on signs along the canal.
- The whole canal is supervised by camera surveillance from the maneuver tower for the Södertälje kanal.
- Speed limit in the canal is 6 knots.
